Who we are
Just two modern mamas on a mission to help others get their shit together.
If you want simple and practical ways that you and your partner in crime can prepare for the craziest ride of your life, then you’re in the right place.
Pregnancy tips, Postnatal support ideas and powerful tools to prepare for you for a positive birth are the kind of things we could rave about all day (and frequently do, on the blog)
I qualified to teach Hypnobirthing and Pregnancy yoga after the birth of my son Easton. I came out of the other side of those sleep deprived and bleary eyed first few months on a mission to support other mums to be to prepare for the start to motherhood they deserve.
When I was pregnant, I was shit scared about how I was going to cope with it all.
I felt anxious, I was worried about what might go wrong with the birth. At the time I was still working really long hours in my job as a fashion buyer, so It was all really stressful. When me and my partner in crime finally discovered the magic of Hypnobirthing, Well that was a game changer.
We both had a complete mindset shift. Over the course of 4 short weeks, I went from feeling stressed and worried to feeling excited and actually even looking forward to the birth;
The birth didn’t go 100% to plan, yet it was a beautiful, empowering experience.
The lights were low, Prince was playing on Spotify. It was a far cry from the births I had seen on TV!
I was pretty blase about having an actual baby and I was sure all those 4 day Glastonbury benders would mean I could nail sleep deprivation with my hands behind my back
When it actually came to it though, the first few months of Motherhood were really tough.
There was blood, sweat, tears, and god knows whose poo. I cried more times than I care to remember over spilt breast milk.
I wished I had done more to prepare for life after birth and this is the reason we offer wrap around postnatal support so you can have all the strategies you need to step confidently into being the brilliant new mama you are!
We are excited to announce that Peace Love and birth is expanding! Gabi has joined the team and will be officially starting in 2020. Gabi will be running hypnobirthing courses and mindful breastfeeding workshops.

I passionately believe that every woman has the right to birth with dignity and feel supported on her pregnancy journey. Sadly it isn’t always the case.
For every hypnobirthing course booked, I will donate £10 to the charity Birth Companions
Birth Companions is a unique charity which supports women experiencing severe disadvantage during pregnancy, birth and early parenting. They are the UK’s leading organisation working in this area, with widely acknowledged expertise in the needs of pregnant women and new mothers facing severe disadvantage both in prison and the community. Their overall aim is to empower women and help them to give their babies the best possible start in life.
